P. Brown 5/3 Rebrand

I am thinking to rebrand 5/3 bank. Their new slogan "The Curious Bank" is a tad creepy and, in my opinion, ineffective. I'm not sure where I will go with it, but perhaps make the bank more modern and accessible to the technologically advanced world. Moreover, their ad campaign, "Don't Be That Guy" is lame, and reminiscent of 4th grade school-supply ads. I think it needs serious retouching

(I'm not sure if I want to redesign the entire map, or just the typography and the logo of the CTA)

Rebrand Idea

For the next project I am doing the rebrand assignment. I have two ideas and I’m still not sure what direction that I want to go in. I was thinking about rebranding cuties oranges or OPI. I want to change the name and target audience for both of the projects. I think that the cuties oranges brand would be much more successful if it was not focused on targeting parents to get it for kids. The commercial for cuties says cutes are small because kids hands are small. I think that an older audiences of people would also enjoy the product. I want make the brand for an older audience of people that want to stay healthy and or loss weight.  I would change the name and maybe try to explain that it is a healthy snack. If I go with the OPI idea I want to change the name and make it more relatable to users. I don’t think anyone really knows what OPI stands for so I want to make it something the represents the brand.

Rebrand Idea Werba

I was thinking about a few brands that I could either rebrand into totally different products or just revitalize. I would like to rebrand Southwest because I feel like its current standing in the public eye is tarnished and could use a solid campaign to make it relevant and valuable again.

Another brand that I think could use a face lift is Adidas. Nike clearly has a solid grasp on the market and Adidas needs a rebranding job to make it a serious competitor with Nike.

I was also thinking about setting a tone for the e-cigarette brand Blu. They currently have a lame black and white commercial that runs late on Comedy Central with some scruffy looking guy in a blazer talking about smokers and their freedom. I think rebranding such a new brand would be fun because I have a lot of room to move with ideas and not much to compare it with. I was thinking about comparing the new Blu e-cigarette ad campaign I create to an old real cigarette campaign.

Losurdo_My Life in Apps

I'm thinking about mixing What A Happy Life, and the Scrapbook of Frankie Pratt  and making a design incorporating slogans of brands that I often use, such as Mini Cooper, Caribou Coffee, Wacom, PS3.

Mini Cooper: Not Normal or Lets Motor.
Caribou Coffee: Life is short, stay awake for it
Wacom: An Idea. A Dream. An Inspiration.
PS3: Long Live Play.

I also love this guy. And would love to do a still version of that with some gifs. David Shrigley
As well as this guy for his use of sticky notes to tJeff Chiba Stearnsell his past 9 years.

Francis - Assignment 3 Rebrand

For this project, I decided to rebrand Vitaminwater. A while back, it was announced that Vitaminwater is basically sugared water and not healthy at all. So as a result, I want to rebrand their item from the ground up.

Here is an article about Vitaminwater.

"Vitaminwater"
The other popular vitamin is drink "Vitaminwater." The Coca-Cola Corporation recently bought it from Glaceau. The vitamin water drink caused a stir when marketing stated that it was made up of vitamins and water. When the nutrition content of the vitamin water was examined, sugar appeared third on the list, with 33 grams of sugar.
This stirred caused enough of a fuss that the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CPSI) started a class action suit against Coca-Cola. They claimed that the sugar essentially cancelled out any healthy claims they made by saying the drink was primarily vitamins and water.
Stephen Garden was the main litigator in the class action suit, and Gardener says, "They added vitamins to crap. And it's still crap. Consumers shouldn't have to assume that the front of a label is a lie."
January 2011 saw Coco-Cola being prohibited from continuing to claim that their product was a nutritious drink.
