Non-profits app

Social Media Campaign:

1.  Describe the challenge:
Create an app that will enable non-profits to easily connect and partner with one another.  This app will help a non-profit find other non-profits or micro-finance companies that have similar missions and values as theirs so as to create a team all dedicated to a similar cause.  This app will also help someone become involved in a non-profit that is relevant to them by categorizing the non-profits by their target.

2.  Target audience?
The main group being targeted would be non-profit organizations already running.  This app will be a tool for them to use to partner with other non-profits.  Any person will be able to use the app, and will help ordinary people find a non-profit organization close to them that deals with whatever they are interested in.  However, the main focus is non-profits already established.

3.  What does the audience currently think about the company?
Since there is no specific company, non-profits usually have a hard time reaching out and spreading the word about their organization because of funding.  This would make this app even more appealing because word about their organization would spread.

4.  What would we like the target to think and feel?
We want the target to feel like they are making partnerships and contacts with other non-profits and we want them to feel like this benefits their organization.

5.  What facts will assist this change of thinking?
The ability to not only search by categories, but easily contact and remain in contact with new organizations.

6.  What is the brand essence?
The essence is useful and productive.  This is meant to be a "social media" forum but for non-profits.

7.  What is the key emotion?
The key emotion I want to evoke is empowerment, the ability to feel like they are creating a stronger, more united force.

8.  What media will best facilitate the goal?
I am going to make a phone app and a website.

9.  What are the most critical elements?
Search by category and location. Contact information. And each non-profit will have a page dedicated to explaining them in more detail.

10.  What is the single most important takeaway?
That there are many places and organizations that can and should work side-by-side.

11.  What do we want the audience to do?
I want the audience to start making contacts and teams to strengthen their reach as an organization.
