I'm digging the first ad the most. I think it looks really nice and just like an ALDO ad. Even though it looks like one of the real ads and it is recognizable, I think there needs to be a couple words in there somewhere to explain what is going on because I was a bit confused in class. Otherwise, it's a really strong composition!
I adore this project. The red against the yellow in the first composition is fantastic - but I do agree with Sam, you may need a tagline or something to give it a bit more of a kick. As for the second composition, maybe angle the legs more to give it some sort of direction; it does not make much sense for the legs to be pointed up & the balloons down so possibly angling it & moving the ALNO to the bottom right or left would suffice.
