Gonzalez -- Week Three Reading

In chapter 5, this idea of conceptualization is explored. The most interesting part about it was the notion that jotting down notes is just as effective as doodling. I personally end up brainstorming by just writing words down even when I try to conceptualize an idea on a purely aesthetic level. Avoiding the use of copy is key because copy should never be used to explain an ad, instead it should just emphasize what's already being seen.

This ad is a great example of how the visual can stand alone and still convey the message the copy is explaining.
