Idea one is to spoof off of the social reliance on and addiction to the Smartphones vs Cigarets. I am choosing to use the iPhone and Marlboro to represent these objects because they are the most recognizable and most hyped brands for their industries. This allows for immediate affiliation and comprehension. The goal is to get the user to realize their addiction and become less reliant. The image will be of an iPhone inside a pack of Marlboro cigarets. This affiliates the iPhone with the cigarets, stating that the iPhone is addicting and unhealthy just like a cigarette.
The second idea is a spoof off of television ads. This doesn't attack one ad in specific but television as a while and the hypnosis and arbitrary involvement we partake in it. We watch TV for many reasons but it is my opinion is that more often than not is that it's because society is too lazy to think of anything else to do. Some say it's to relax, some say it's to watch a show. The copy would be something along the lines of "Because you can't think of anything else to do." Appearing underneath an illustration of a television.
