Skinny Cow (I'm a Cow)

Here's my rough draft. Originally, I wanted to revolve the Skinny Cow ads around the cow itself, but after looking at the ads today, I realized none of their ads resemble what I wanted to create. I spent most of my time drawing out multiple fat cows doing weird things but had to toss them once I realized it didn't follow the spoof ad prompt at all. Skinny Cow ice cream has really simple advertisements like the one below.
First off, I'm going to recreate this ad by adding different copy. The copy will say: Single and stuck on the couch. Although my logo and Skinny Cow's logo will look similar, I redesigned mine to have a fat cow who is unable to tie the measuring belt around her waist. The cow is on her back attempting to measure herself similar to an individual who struggles to put on a pair of jeans that don't quite fit. Underneath there's a ribbon that displays the name of the product, "I'm a Cow."

I will upload this image to Illustrator in order to perfect the logo and advertisement.

  1. I think both ideas are successful and get their point across. I like that the cows spots are enclosing in on the ice cream. I do tend to lean more towards the cow laying down just because I get the idea more that he is not skinny from this product. The first concept I understand it but with the "single and looking" part I start thinking of different concepts you may be going for and it isn't quite as clear to me. I think both are effective but express different ideas
